The language for the conference is English. No translation service will be arranged.
DRESS AND CLIMATE
Average day time temperature in April are generally warm (about 18℃), however a light coat and an umbrella can also be useful.
BANK, POST OFFICES
Foreign currencies and travellers checks may be exchanged at banks, which are usually open from 9:00 am to 3:00 pm. Banks are closed on Saturday and Sunday. City post offices are open from 9:00 am to 5:00 pm Mondays through Fridays.

Neither the Organizers nor Conference Secretariat, take any responsibility whatsoever for injury, loss or damage to persons or personal property during the OMAE '97 Conference. The Organizers and the Conference Secretariat reserve the right to change the general program or cancel parts of it, if necessary.

NAME BADGE AND TICKET
Participants and Accompanying Persons are required to wear their namebadge at all meetings and official functions. Please have your tickets and invitation cards with you at all meals and receptions.
AUTHOR'S BRIEFING
Authors, Session Chairman, and Co-Chairman are requested to attend the Authors' Briefing on the day of their session. The briefing time is at 13:30-14:00 on Monday in Room 301 and 302 and at 8:00-9:00 on Tuesday-Thursday in LOUNGE, 3F. The authors will meet their chairman and co-chairman together with other authors of their session, and the session arrangements are outlined. If you need special equipment such as video other than slide and overhead projects, please request Prof. H. Maeda, chairman of Domestic Executive Committee in advance at least 10 days before the Conference and tell your chairman in the briefing. A simple buffet breakfast will be served on Tuesday-Thursday.
